About Kneesy

Kneesy is India’s first complete knee health platform. We help people manage all types of knee problems through personalized care. This includes online physiotherapy, pain management, rehabilitation, surgery guidance, and long-term support for recovery.

Kneesy is for anyone above 18 years of age with knee pain, injury, stiffness, or mobility issues. We work with athletes, professionals, homemakers, and senior citizens.

(For ages 14–18, we provide services only if a parent or guardian is present during the consultation. We do not currently treat children under 14.)

You don’t need to decide that alone. Our clinical team will evaluate your condition, stage, and severity, then guide you toward the right option – whether it’s physiotherapy, medical management, or a surgical consultation. We always explore conservative treatments first and only recommend surgery if it’s truly the best choice.

No. You can sign up and use Kneesy directly without a referral. If a prescription medication or an in-person specialist consultation is required at any point, we will connect you with our trusted network of doctors to get what you need.

  • Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Ligament injuries (ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL tears)

  • Post-trauma stiffness or weakness
  • General knee pain, swelling, or mobility problems

(If it involves the knee, we likely handle it!)

Yes. Kneesy offers structured post-surgery rehab programs to help you regain mobility, reduce pain, and get back to normal activities after a knee operation. Many patients come to us after procedures like ACL repair or knee replacement, we’ll guide your recovery step by step.

Absolutely. Kneesy helps athletes, runners, and fitness enthusiasts prevent knee injuries through customized strengthening, mobility, and conditioning programs. Even if you don’t have pain but want to protect your knees (or improve performance), we can design a routine for you.

Yes. Even long-standing knee pain can often be improved. Our specialists will assess your case and design a program to gradually increase your knee’s function and reduce pain. We’ve helped people who’ve had pain for years finally find relief through consistent rehab and targeted therapy.

For many patients, yes. Our online physiotherapy sessions and customized exercise plans are highly effective and convenient. You get expert supervision via video, which works for the majority of cases. If you have a particularly complex condition, we may recommend occasional in-person visits or refer you to a partner clinic, but most people won’t need that.

Access & Technology

Yes, currently all Kneesy services are provided online. You’ll have live video consultations with doctors and physiotherapists, interactive exercise coaching, progress tracking, and follow-ups through our app. This means you can get top-notch knee care from the comfort of your home, wherever you are.

Not yet. We plan to launch Kneesy Clinics in major cities in the near future, focused on advanced rehab and surgical care, but as of now our platform is entirely online. Stay tuned for updates as we expand our physical presence.

Yes. The Kneesy app is available on both Android and iOS devices. You can also access our services via a web browser, but the mobile app offers the best experience for video sessions and exercise tracking.

You don’t need a fancy gym setup. For our online rehab sessions, make sure you have:

  • A smartphone, tablet, or laptop with a camera (for video sessions)
  • A stable internet connection (so we can see and hear you clearly)
  • Some open space to move and exercise safely
  • Basic equipment like a yoga mat, a chair, or resistance bands if recommended (we’ll let you know in advance if anything specific is needed)

(Our team will guide you on setting up before your first session, so it’s hassle-free.)

Pricing & Plans

We offer flexible pricing plans depending on the care you need. An initial assessment may even be free or at a low cost to get you started. After that, we have options from one-time consultations to multi-week rehab packages. All pricing is transparent and shared upfront, there are no hidden fees or surprises. We believe in making knee care affordable and will work with you to find the right plan.

Yes. You can choose from one-time expert consultations, monthly physiotherapy packages, or longer-term rehabilitation programs. For example, if you have a chronic issue, a 3-month rehab package might be most cost-effective. If you just need a quick consultation or a second opinion, a single session might do. We’ll help tailor the plan that fits your needs and budget.

It depends on your provider and plan. Some insurance plans do cover online doctor consultations or physiotherapy sessions. We will provide any medical documentation or invoices you need to apply for reimbursement. It’s best to check with your insurance company. Even without insurance, our costs are often lower than traditional clinic visits.

Safety & Trust

Yes – all our experts are thoroughly vetted and qualified. Kneesy’s physiotherapists and doctors are licensed professionals with specialized experience in knee care. We verify credentials, and our team leads (orthopedic surgeons and senior physiotherapists) have years of clinical practice. You’re in safe, expert hands with Kneesy.

Absolutely. We take your privacy and data security very seriously. Our systems use encryption and follow strict healthcare data protection standards. Your health information is never shared with anyone without your consent. You control who sees your reports. We comply with all relevant regulations to keep your personal data safe.

No, minors cannot use Kneesy on their own. Users under 18 must have a parent or guardian present during every session. This is to ensure safety and proper consent. We currently focus on adult knee issues, but older teens can participate with parental guidance.

Kneesy is not for emergencies. If you experience a sudden severe pain, suspected fracture, inability to bear weight, or any trauma that could be an emergency, please stop and seek immediate in-person medical attention (like an ER). In the rare case that a medical issue arises during an online session, our therapist will advise you to visit an emergency facility. We are here to help with rehabilitation and guidance, but life-threatening or acute emergencies need hands-on urgent care.

Using Kneesy

1. Contact us through our website or WhatsApp.

2. Download the Kneesy app (available on Android and iOS). Available from 1st January, 2026.

3. Sign up and fill in a brief profile about your knee health and goals.

4. Book an initial assessment at a convenient time.

5. Meet your expert – in the first session we’ll assess your knee and outline a plan. After that, you’re on your way to better knees!

  • We listen to your history and symptoms, and ask questions about your knee pain or injury.
  • We assess your knee’s movement (you might be guided through some simple movements on camera).
  • Together, we set goals for your recovery (for example, “walk 2 km without pain” or “climb stairs comfortably”).
  • You receive a clear step-by-step treatment plan, which we’ll also send to you in the app or email.

This first session is about understanding your needs and making sure you leave with a roadmap for improvement.

  • You’ll have scheduled video sessions (e.g., 2–3 times a week) with your physiotherapist to monitor progress and advance your exercises.
  • Your progress is tracked through the app: you can log pain levels, activity, etc., and your physio can see this and adjust your program.
  • We make adjustments to your exercise plan as needed. If something is too easy or too hard, or if you’ve improved enough to move to the next stage, we update your regimen.

Regular follow-ups ensure you keep making progress and stay motivated.

Yes. The Kneesy app provides short exercise videos demonstrating each move in your program, so you can be sure you’re doing them correctly. It also sends you reminders for your exercise sessions and upcoming appointments. Essentially, it’s like having a coach in your pocket – guiding you on form and keeping you on track.

Others

Every individual is different, but many users start feeling some improvement within the first 2–4 weeks of consistent guided sessions. Pain may decrease, and mobility may increase within a month. For more significant changes (like building muscle strength or recovery from surgery), it might take a few months of dedicated work. We’ll give you a realistic timeline based on your specific condition.

In many early or moderate cases, yes, our goal is to help you avoid or delay surgery. Through targeted rehabilitation and expert guidance, we often improve knee function and reduce pain so much that surgery isn’t needed in the near term. Of course, some severe conditions eventually require surgery, but even then, doing Kneesy rehab first can improve your outcomes (and sometimes eliminate the need altogether if you progress well).

Yes, our team will share nutrition and lifestyle tips to support your knee care. For example, maintaining a healthy weight can significantly reduce knee strain, we’ll guide you with diet suggestions if weight management is part of your knee plan. We also advise on supplements for joint health (if appropriate) and habits like proper footwear, safe exercise techniques, and ergonomic adjustments in daily life.

Life happens – if you miss a scheduled therapy session, you can easily reschedule it through the app. We have a flexible policy for make-up sessions. Your progress is important to us, so we’ll find another slot that works for you. You can also message your therapist if you need to adjust your schedule.

Absolutely. We have special rehab programs for after total or partial knee replacement. These programs focus on restoring your range of motion, strengthening your muscles around the new joint, and helping you return to activities safely. Many patients come to us after surgery for structured guidance, we’ll work closely with your surgeon’s recommendations and get you back on your feet confidently.

Yes, you can consult Kneesy for a second opinion. If you’ve been told you need knee surgery and you’re unsure, our experts (including orthopedic surgeons) can review your reports and give an independent assessment. We’ll let you know if we agree surgery is the best option, or if there are alternative treatments you could try first. Our advice is unbiased and 100% focused on what’s best for you.
